When newlyweds Penn and Farrah Fletcher retreat to a secluded mountain cabin for a romantic honeymoon, they expect peace and solitude—not to become witnesses to the unraveling of humanity. Overnight, civilization collapses in a tidal wave of violence, paranoia, and fear. Neighbors turn into predators, strangers into executioners. RED/BLUE  follows Penn and Farrah’s harrowing transformation from lovers to survivalists, their lives upended by a contagion (or perhaps something far worse) that strips humanity from its victims. Some say it's a virus. Others whisper of demons, aliens, or poisoned atmospheres. The only certainty? Those “changed” aren’t who they were—and they aren’t safe.

From their mountain refuge, the Fletchers descend into a world fractured by mistrust and madness. As grotesque mutations emerge, and distorted humans roam under the cover of night, the line between heroes and monsters blur. They find hope with an eclectic group of survivors in Vernon High, a fortified stronghold run by everyday people with a fragile sense of structure. But security is fleeting in a world this broken.

What begins as a quest to withstand the apocalypse morphs into a deeper struggle with identity, tribalism, and the frightening malleability of truth in a world no longer bound by reason. Are the real monsters outside—or within?
